HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WSMV) - The city of Hopkinsville is putting focus on safe driving throughout the city and in neighborhoods.

On Wednesday, the city announced they are distributing 100 free yard signs that say “Drive Like Your Kids Live Here.” They are meant to serve as reminders for drivers to slow down and prioritize the safety of children and families.

“One of the pillars of our Growing Home plan is public safety,” said Mayor J.R. Knight. “These signs are a simple but powerful reminder that every child deserves to feel safe in their own neighborhood. By working together, we can create a community where families feel secure and our streets are safer for everyone.”
