LAURENTIAN VALLEY — The spirit of teamwork and community pride was on full display at Stafford Park on Jim Sheedy Way in Laurentian Valley on Saturday, Sept. 13, as the second annual Emergency and Protective Services United (EPSU) event brought together local first responders for a day of camaraderie, competition, and charity.

Firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and parole officers squared off in a series of friendly challenges, including tractor tire flipping, bucket relays and the crowd-pleasing truck pull. While competition was fierce at times, the atmosphere remained lighthearted, with plenty of high-fives, laughter, and encouragement among participants.
