NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Last week we passed the "peak" mark of HURRICANE SEASON 2025 so you'd think that things in the Atlantic basin would be quieting down, but instead we are seeing the opposite --- especially with Tropical Storm Gabrielle forming on Wednesday plus two other spots following closely behind it to now keep an eye on.

Starting with Tropical Storm Gabrielle which formed Wednesday afternoon and is currently 1,745-miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands.

It has maximum sustained winds of 45-mph and tropical-storm-form winds that extend outward up to 175-miles from the center as it continues moving north-northwestward at 22-mph.
