KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Missouri Lottery player is celebrating after winning $100,000 from a Powerball ticket bought earlier this month in Jackson County.

The Missouri Lottery said the ticket was purchased at a gas station in Grandview and matched four of the five white-ball numbers in the Sept. 3 drawing.

The winning numbers that night were 3, 16, 29, 61 and 69 with a Powerball number of 22.

According to the Missouri Lottery, by adding the Power Play option to his ticket, the winner doubled the base prize of $50,000 when the Power Play number drawn was 2. The end result was a $100,000 Powerball prize.

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday night's Powerball is currently $81 million with a cash value of $37.9 million.
