Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette is a fascinating free agent to debate.

Bichette has led the American League in hits twice in his career and has a chance to do it a third time this year even while missing the final three weeks of the regular season. He's hitting free agency at age 27, and while the bat is an unquestioned plus, the defense is something of a question mark.

Do the Blue Jays view Bichette as a shortstop next year and beyond? Does another team? And if there's a disparity between what a new potential team thinks of him and his current team, how will Bichette ultimately make up his mind?

All of those questions will eventually turn into teams writing dollar amounts on paper for Bichette to weigh. If the Blue Jays offer the most, it's hard to imagine he'd leave.
