Stefon Diggs is assuming a different role with the New England Patriots.
Once one of the game’s most prolific playmakers, Diggs is still finding his footing in his return from an ACL tear. The wide receiver has begun his 11th season with 10 catches for 89 yards in two games.
Diggs explained Wednesday, via MassLive’s Mark Daniels , that he’s aiming to contribute however he can to the offense’s growth.
“I want to be a key point in this offense as far as being part of the sail with things going in the right direction,” Diggs said. “We’ve got a young team. We’re out there fighting. We’re out there getting on the same page. You see things clicking here and there. I just want to be part of it.”
