Belly's story will continue.

Hours after the highly anticipated Season 3 finale of "The Summer I Turned Pretty" aired, Prime Video announced that the series will officially conclude with a feature film, written and directed by none other than Jenny Han, author of the beloved book trilogy.

Details about the storyline are "still under wraps," but the story will likely pick up with a slightly older and wiser Belly (Lola Tung) and Conrad (Christopher Briney) as they move toward the next phase in their relationship.

The news was announced at the series' finale red carpet celebration in Paris, France.

According to Prime Video, since its release on July 16, Season 3 of "The Summer I Turned Pretty" drew 25 million viewers from around the world through its first week and is the fifth most watched returning season on the streaming platform.

"There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due," Han said in a statement. "I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans."

What will 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' movie be about?

Neither Prime Video nor Han have revealed any details, but there's a good chance fans will get to see Belly and Conrad get married at the summer house, a pivotal scene not included in the Season 3 finale.

Belly and Conrad's beach wedding was one of the last, if not the last, scenes in Han's third and final book "We'll Always Have Summer."
