As part of a series of roster moves made by the New York Giants heading into week three of the season, the franchise announced a former Mississippi standout has been signed full-time to the active roster.

Swayze Bozeman, a Southern Miss star from 2019-23, will continue joining the Big Blue on Sundays after signing with the practice squad on Aug. 28. Heading into the Giants’ week two game against the Dallas Cowboys, Bozeman was temporarily elevated to the active roster and played 24 special teams snaps in addition to five on defense.

Standing at 6-foot-1, 230 pounds, Bozeman is a linebacker by trade but has begun to make a name for himself as part of special teams units. In 2024, he played in the Kansas City Chiefs’ final six games, including Super Bowl LIX, and totaled six tackles on spe
