CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) -- Governor Patrick Morrisey announced emergency funding for food pantries in counties that were affected by flooding in February and June 2025.

According to a press release from Governor Morrisey, more than $767,000 in emergency funding to keep food stocked was announced by Governor Morrisey for 63 food pantries in 13 counties that were affected by flooding.

While the flood waters have long since subsided, we are still working in the affected communities to help them make a full recovery. These funds will help local food pantries keep food on their shelves so they can continue to serve those who were hardest hit by this year’s floods. • Governor Morrisey
