CODY — Following claims of a spiraling budget increase, the State Shooting Complex Board clarified that the cost of the project has not increased.

Following claims in a recently published letter to the editor, published September 8, that the project cost has spiraled to more than $50 million from its original $20 million, the board discussed during its Sept. 11 meeting the need to reassert that costs have not increased.

“The misinformation, in my opinion, kind of has a theme that ‘the project costs are increasing,’” SSC board chair Glenn Ross said. “...
