FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. —

New charges have been filed in connection with the death of a 17-year-old girl whose body was found near an abandoned home in April 2024.

The Fayette County District Attorney announced Derrick Darnell Bradley, 37, is facing charges that include interference with custody of children, concealing the death of a child, abuse of a corpse and hindering apprehension.

In November 2023, Kaitlin Whoolery left her placement at a drug treatment facility during a home visit.

Her body would be found in North Union Township, in the area of Washington Avenue and Hogsett Lane.
