Attorney General Anthony Brown announced Wednesday that his office will not seek charges in a fatal officer-involved collision that occurred in Baltimore City in early June.

In the early hours of June 4 , an officer with the Maryland Transportation Authority officer was traveling northbound on I-95 when he noticed a vehicle driven by Gabriel Omar Castillo intermittently changing speeds alongside his cruise.

As both vehicles neared Exit 54, Castillo drifted into the officer’s lane without using a turn signal. He narrowly missed the officer as he veered into his lane before activating his turn signal and speeding ahead. The officer followed Castillo, watching until he exited the highway at Exit 55.
