The feud between Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) escalated to a new extreme on Wednesday, as Mace uttered an obscene outburst at a reporter who confronted her with Omar's latest comments.

Mace, who has made headlines repeatedly in recent months for bizarre stunts, filed a resolution this week to censure Omar and strip her of her House committee assignments, based on the fact that she reposted a series of social media posts critical of assassinated right-wing youth activist Charlie Kirk.

She has separately demanded that any school that does not punish faculty who are critical of Kirk be stripped of federal funding, a proposal that would almost certainly run afoul of the First Amendment, and even advocated Kirk's body lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda, an honor reserved almost exclusively for America's most distinguished statesmen and senior military officials.

Omar has refused to back down from her position, saying in a recent Zeteo News interview, "There is nothing more f----- up to completely pretend his words and actions have not been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so."

As Mace has tried to advance her resolution, she also posted on social media advocating Omar be deported to Somalia, the country she was born in and emigrated from as a young refugee. Omar hit back, posting, "You belong in rehab."

According to Huffington Post reporter Arthur Delaney, when he caught up with Mace and asked her about Omar's rehab comments, Mace replied, "F--- her."

In recent months, reports have emerged about Mace's erratic and self-obsessed behavior behind the scenes, including her demands that her own congressional staffers make burner social media accounts to sing her praises.
