NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Some spots in southeast Louisiana continue to see the chance for severe storms for Wednesday afternoon into the early evening.

The main threats with these storms could bring large hail, damaging wind gusts and even the possible tornado.

Washington, Tangipahoa, St. John The Baptist, St. James, and LaFourche parishes are the areas to keep an eye out, and according to FUTURECAST --- storms should be mellowing out by the time we get to about 6:30 p.m. with lingering showers then further quiet down by 9 p.m.

As for Wednesday temperatures, many spots made it up into the 90s like Bogalusa at 95-degrees and Houma at 91-degrees, but we will get down into the mid-to-low 70s this evening.
