GODERICH – A Goderich woman faces several charges after an alleged assault on police officers. Article content

According to Huron OPP, police were contacted just before 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, to investigate a disturbance on Balvina Drive in Goderich. After attending the scene, police say they found an individual who uttered threats and was confrontational with officers. Article content

According to police, the individual resisted arrest and assaulted the officers, but was eventually taken into custody.

A 35-year-old woman is charged with three counts of assaulting a peace officer, three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, obstructing a peace officer, mischief with a value less than $5,000 and resisting a peace officer.
