BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WIS) - No bond was set Wednesday for a man charged in a deadly Blythewood shooting.

Fred Gause Jr., 43, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He appeared for a hearing on Wednesday, where his case was deferred to the General Sessions court.

He’s accused of shooting both victims at a home on Haygood Road late Monday afternoon.

Investigators say Gause used to live just up the road from the victims. A relative told WIS that she and neighbors were left stunned, while the front of the home is riddled with bullet holes. a

Gause is currently being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
