Oxley High and Farrer's open boys hockey sides will meet in the final of the NSW Combined High Schools final in Tamworth.
The big clash will occur on Thursday, September 18, with both outfits advancing to the decider after winning their quarter-final and semi-final matches at the Tamworth Hockey Centre the previous day.
Farrer are eyeing a third consecutive title.
Oxley High coach Sam Brown said the last time the school made the final was in 2013, when they won the tournament. They also won it in 2012.
"To be honest, very chuffed with them all," he said of his charges, who edged Parkes High 3-2 in the quarter-final via a late goal, then beat Grafton High 3-1 on penalties in the semi-final after it was locked at 3-3 at full-time.
