PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - New details are expected tonight on the idea of bringing a Costco distribution center to eastern Connecticut.

Although no exact location has been given, the center would be on the Canterbury and Plainfield town line in the areas of Tarbox Road, Butts Bridge Road, and Route 12.

Costco says this would bring one or more buildings to the area, but has not said how large those buildings would be or how many jobs they would bring in.

“What will happen? How big is the building?” asked Diane Geer, Plainfield.

There are a lot of questions about what this center would look like.

“How things are going to go? What’s the traffic going to be like?” Geer said.

Costco representatives will be at Plainfield High School to answer these questions tonight.
