NEW ORLEANS — Arts New Orleans is pushing back its signature light and art festival, LUNA Fête, by one year. The four-day event, originally slated for November 2025, will now take place in November 2026.
The move, organizers said on Wednesday was made following "shifts in federal and local funding support," in a release. They say the change keeps LUNA Fête free while bringing back Gallier Hall’s signature projections and large-scale artworks from Lafayette Street to the Piazza d’Italia.
Since its debut in 2014, LUNA Fête has grown into a winter tradition, bringing about 40,000 people downtown for projection mapping on Gallier Hall, immersive light displays, and interactive installations.
