HARTFORD, Conn. — A former Medicaid Coordinator who committed multiple fraud schemes in Connecticut learned her prison sentence in Hartford federal court on Wednesday.
Marlenin Vito, 45, used to live in Waterbury. In Hartford, she received a three-year, five-month sentence, which will be followed three years of supervised release, according to a report from the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Court documents and statements from court show that Vito worked as a Medicaid Coordinator at an assisted living facility in Stamford that prosecutors call “Company A.”
Vito was tasked with helping residents apply for nursing home level reimbursements, monitoring the residents’
