CLINCH COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – Clinch County students had the chance to step into the world of skilled trades on Wednesday thanks to a partnership with Be Pro Be Proud Georgia.

With support from a grant, Be Pro Be Proud brought its mobile unit to the county, giving students hands-on experience through virtual reality simulators. The unit showcases more than 20 career paths, including truck driving, welding, electrical linework, farming, and agricultural technology.

The program’s goal is to spark interest in trade school and skilled professions among young people and to help prepare the future workforce.
