A year ago, fresh-faced rookie Drake Maye wandered onto the field after a Patriots loss to the Jets with one goal in mind.

"I'm waiting for the GOAT ," Maye told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Maye was, of course, referring to Aaron Rodgers, who had two marks against him in the eyes of most New England fans. For one, he was the quarterback of the New York Jets. And more importantly, he wasn't Tom Brady -- the actual Greatest Of All Time.

Nevertheless, with Rogers -- now the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who will make their way to Foxboro this weekend -- Maye remains as enthralled as ever.
