ANN ARBOR – Michigan’s secondary is in flux entering Big Ten play.
The 21st-ranked Wolverines (3-0) were without three key defensive backs in last week’s 63-3 win over Central Michigan, and it’s unclear whether any will return for Saturday’s matchup at Nebraska (3-0).
Starting cornerback Zeke Berry exited Week 2’s loss to Oklahoma with a lower-right leg injury, which head coach Sherrone Moore later said was “mild.”
However, it was significant enough for the Wolverines to hold him out against CMU.
“Zeke has been working really hard,” defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan said Wednesday. “We have a great medical staff and team here, so I’m excited, and hopefully we can get him back this week. He’s practicing and stuff like that. We just need to make sure he feels comfortable, and we don’t w
