The Courier Journal evaluated the impact court-ordered busing has had on Louisville since its implementation in 1975, and now we're giving you the chance to engage with fellow community members at a Sept. 17 event hosted in partnership with WHAS11.
The event, called 50 Years After Busing — A Community Conversation. is set for 6 p.m. at The Academy @ Shawnee. We'll discuss the history of busing in Louisville and talk about its effect on Jefferson County Public Schools today. If you are unable to make it in person the event, will be livestreamed on courierjournal.com and WHAS11+ .
