(NewsNation) — A former “Love is Blind” contestant has sued the hit Netflix series, alleging he was subject to “unsafe and inhumane working conditions" and supplied "unlimited" amounts of alcohol.
Stephen Richardson, a contestant on the show’s seventh season, said he and other cast members were “wilfully misclassified as independent contractors,” according to The Independent.
The suit says that “Love is Blind” producers exercised “substantial and excessive control" over the ways they performed on the show.
