NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A woman was killed in a car crash on Canal Street Wednesday, Sept. 17.

According to the New Orleans Police Department officers were notified that a woman was injured in a crash in the 0-10 block of Canal Street at 1:48 p.m.

She was transported to a local hospital where she later died around 4:17 p.m.
