Mizzou’s SEC slate begins with the Gamecocks.

No. 22/23-ranked Missouri football will face RV/No. 24 South Carolina on Saturday in Columbia, Missouri. The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Faurot Field and will air in primetime on ESPN.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that USC quarterback LaNorris Sellers has practiced after missing the second half of the Gamecocks' loss against Vanderbilt with an apparent head injury.

South Carolina (2-1, 0-1 SEC) coach Shane Beamer did not disclose whether or not Sellers had sustained a concussion, and Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz on Tuesday said his team is preparing to face the starter. That appears more and more likely as the game gets closer.
