CINCINNATI —

An Air Quality Alert has been issued for Cincinnati and surrounding areas Wednesday and Thursday.

Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn County in Indiana are under an air quality alert until midnight EDT Friday. Advertisement

Levels of ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.

Those in sensitive groups should limit time outside.

If you're hoping for more rain, wait until the end of the weekend when some spotty chances move in. Right now, it looks like the best chance for wet weather will be Sunday evening. But even that won't hit everyone. Scattered shower chances linger through Wednesday.
