The scope and breadth of Hollow Knight: Silksong are downright massive, especially in comparison to its predecessor, Hollow Knight. In theory, this means there's a wide variety of environments to explore. For the most part, if you don't feel ready for a certain area or boss, there are plenty of other places to adventure through.
Despite this—or maybe because of it— few areas of Silksong are as notoriously disliked as The Slab. This is a shame, because I think The Slab is an example of brilliant design. Instead of hating on it, we should be celebrating this unique zone from Team Cherry.
