INDIANAPOLIS — Colts head coach Shane Steichen highlighted a play by Alec Pierce in the team meeting this week.

A play where he didn’t even get the ball.

Pierce cleared out a cornerback and a safety on tight end Tyler Warren’s 41-yard catch, and just after the ball settled into Warren’s hands, Pierce reached his hands up as if he was going for a deep ball.

Denver cornerback Riley Moss bit on Pierce’s fake and kept running, taking one potential tackler out of Warren’s way.
