I-TEAM: State declines to suspend licenses for bounty hunters accused of kicking in LSU student’s door

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Louisiana Department of Insurance issued a stern warning to three bounty hunters facing felony charges for a July apartment raid in Baton Rouge.

Detectives said Brian Green, Roderick Larkins, and Jhustyn Garrett kicked in the door of an LSU graduate student’s door while looking for someone else. All three were charged with home invasion and criminal damage to property for the wrong house raid.

Now, documents obtained by the WAFB I-TEAM show the trio is still free to go bounty hunting while their felony charges play out.

The WAFB I-TEAM obtained cease and desist letters that were issued by the Department of Insurance in August.
