CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - The City of Charleston is set to preview an area-specific flood action plan during the Basin Action Flood Committee meeting this week.
Two historic neighborhoods, the Rosemont and Bridgeview communities, lie on the marsh on Charleston's peninsula. It leaves them especially vulnerable to flooding from storm surge, high tides, and heavy rain. The city and several organizations are working to fix that with short and long term solutions.
