BARDSTOWN, Ky. — Brooks Houck and Joseph Lawson, two of the three men convicted in the Crystal Rogers murder case, have been sentenced to life in prison and 25 years, respectively.

Judge Charles Simms sentenced Houck to life and five years for tampering with evidence. However, since Kentucky law forbids a sentence greater than life in prison, the sentence will run concurrently. Lawson received 20 years for consipiracy and five years for tampering. His sentences will run consecutively.

Before the sentencing, Rogers' family gave victim's statements and addressed both men.
