Fest in the First will bring back free horse rides, a foam dance party and salsa in the street to Gary's lakefront Miller Beach neighborhood this weekend.

The annual street festival will return for its 22nd year to Lake Street from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Festivities will include performances by the Miller Community Theatre, the Beachfront Dance School, the West Side Theatre Guild Repertoire Dance Company, Charter School of the Dunes Cheer Squad and the Nick Danger Band.
