PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - In October, Central Illinoisans can drink beer to help kids.
That’s because Obed and Isaac’s microbrewery is teaming up with OSF Children’s Hospital with a new drink called “Bloodline Wheat.” It’s a blood orange hefeweizen created to help young patients.
A portion of the proceeds from every purchase of the new drink will support the OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute.
The drink will make its debut on Oct. 4.
People can also support the cause by donating blood through October at the Impact Life Donor Center located in Peoria or Springfield.
