SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A Springfield family is concerned about their safety after crews working on cutting a tree down in their neighbor’s lot accidentally dropped a large branch onto their roof.

This happened around 8:15 Wednesday morning. According to Jamie Hanson, he found out what happened after getting a frantic call from his wife, who was at home.

“I got a call from her and then I got a call from my mother-in-law, because my wife was freaking out, crying,” said Hanson. “To be sitting on the couch and all of a sudden it sounded like something just landed on your house basically, that’s not a very good thing to have happen to you.”
