PARK CITY — Park City Speedskating is inviting guests to a free try speed skating event with Olympic medalists and top coaches ready to show them the ropes.
“Short-track is really exciting to watch, and if you’ve never seen it, the speeds are just incredible,” Brian Boudreau with Park City Speedskating said.
Boudreau is a four-time Olympic Trials competitor and the current Master World Record holder in the 100m for speed skating. He will be coaching at the event.
Guests can bring their own hockey or figure skates, or try out real speed skates. Don’t forget to dress warm, gloves and a helmet are a must.
“Casey Dawson, who won a bronze medal, is going to be here,” Boudreau said. “He actually started with our team.”
