BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Jefferson County judge has been shown body camera footage of the officer-involved shooting of Jabari Peoples after she ordered the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency to provide her court an in camera review.

According to court documents filed Wednesday, Judge French had that body camera footage that shows a Homewood police officer shooting the 18-year-old , disclosed to her by the ALEA special agent in charge of the investigation.

In an affidavit, the agent says the video shown to Judge French, described as being slightly longer than four minutes, is the same video that was disclosed to the family by Jefferson County District Attorney Danny Carr earlier this year.

The agent went on to say it is the only video the agency is aware of that shows Peoples
