MAGA-aligned personalities celebrated news that Nexstar Media Group pulled "Jimmy Kimmel Live" off the airwaves because of the show host's comments about conservative activist Charlie Kirk's killing.

In a press release on Wednesday, Nixstar's president of broadcasting announced the company was taking the show off the air "indefinitely" and that Jimmy Kimmel's comments were "offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse."

"Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue," Andrew Alford said in the press release.

MAGA-aligned political observers and analysts responded to the news on social media.

“They’re doing their viewers a favor,” the White House’s rapid response account wrote on social media. “Jimmy is a sick freak!”
