GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) - The town of Grand Chute has named a new interim administrator, and his name will be a familiar one to residents.

Greg Peterson will start the job next Tuesday.

He retired as Grand Chute’s police chief last week.

The administrator position has been a subject of intense scrutiny after the board fired former administrator Jim March in 2023.

March filed a federal lawsuit against the board, saying he was wrongfully terminated for testifying against former supervisor Ron Wolff during an investigation into a contract Wolff obtained for his business.

Town officials say they hope to have a permanent administrator in place by January.
