When Spencerport trailed a touchdown on Friday night, Amari Marianetti-Smith became the hero on both sides of the ball to lift the Rangers to the win.
The senior scored two unanswered rushing touchdowns to put Spencerport out front for good. The go-ahead score was a 77-yard run.
Marianetti-Smith made the difference on offense, but he also locked it down on defense.
He came away with 12 tackles, two tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
His all-around effort earned him the top spot on this week's Section V Best.
