(NewsNation) — A business owner in Chicago is speaking out about violent attacks at her restaurant that were caught on camera.

Back in December, surveillance video captured one of Jackson’s employees fighting off someone who approached from behind the counter as other employees fled in fear, according to NewsNation local affiliate WGN-TV. Jackson said a month later that more people jumped over the counter and caused problems.

"The key is to try to hold these parents accountable for the kids," Jackie Johnson, who owns Fatburger & Buffalo's Express in the Chatham neighborhood, told NewsNation.

Jackson acknowledged she tried to deal with the matter privately to protect her staff.
