The Science of It: How to Feed Your Dragon

The Orlando Science Center is celebrating Fantasy Month in September with the interactive exhibit How to Feed Your Dragon , featuring a baby dragon named John Jr. The program blends fantasy with science education, using concepts like the fire triangle (fuel, oxygen, heat) to demonstrate how fire is created.

As part of its inclusivity efforts, the Science Center is offering a sensory-friendly fire show quieter alternative to the usual Kaboom! A show designed for guests with sensory sensitivities. Supported by Culture City , the initiative also includes a new sensory room, sensory-friendly bags with tools, and weighted pads to help guests feel comfortable.
