Golden State Warriors staff members paid a visit to San Quentin Rehabilitation Center Wednesday for a friendly game of hoops against inmates – a tradition that's now 12 years and counting.
The game featured primarily Warriors assistant coaches, training staff and front office personnel taking on the San Quinten team.
"It’s a source of hope and inspiration for people that are incarcerated," San Quentin basketball assistant coach Demond Lewis said.
Lewis has been at San Quinten for 13 years and part of the basketball program since he arrived. He said the annual game against the Warriors staff provides a moment of rehabilitation and healing.
