Two-time NFL champion and former Baltimore Colts star Andy Nelson has died, according to The Baltimore Sun . He was 92 years old.
Nelson won the NFL Championship in 1958 and 1959 with the Colts.
He also earned All-Pro honors twice in his career. Nelson was a second-team selection in 1958 and first-team selection in 1959.
In addition to the Baltimore Colts, Andy Nelson also spent one season with the Atlanta Falcons.
He finished his NFL career with 33 interceptions and three touchdowns.
While his last NFL game came in 1964, Nelson played for the Harrisburg Capitols in Harrisburg, Pa. in 1967 and 1968. The Caps were a minor league team that competed in the Atlantic Coast Football League.
