Another Final Jam is gearing up this summer.

Disney announced Wednesday, Sept. 17, that the long-awaited musical sequel, "Camp Rock 3," began filming this week in Vancouver, with the Jonas Brothers back in the saddle. Nearly a decade after the original 2008 film, Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas are reprising their roles as Connect 3 members Shane, Nate and Jason Gray.

Along with Demi Lovato, the brothers will executive produce the Disney Channel Original Movie. "It's time to head back to camp," Nick said in the video announcement.

The third installment of the iconic franchise will follow the Connect 3 trio returning to Camp Rock to host a contest in the hopes of discovering their next opening act.

The beloved movie series premiered on Disney Channel with 2008's "Camp Rock" and continued with the 2010 sequel "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam." Both movies became among the channel's most recognizable franchises, joining "High School Musical" and "The Cheetah Girls."

Will Demi Lovato be in 'Camp Rock 3'?

Demi Lovato, who starred in the first two movies, is set to join the Jonas Brothers as executive producers, though Disney did not confirm whether she will reprise her role as Mitchie Torres.

The "Cool for the Summer" singer joined the trio on stage last month in a surprise "Camp Rock" reunion at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium during the Jonas20 anniversary tour.
