LOGAN — A 34-year-old Logan man has admitted to kidnapping a woman and forcing her to drive him to Salt Lake City. Carson Jacob Warr has been in the Cache County Jail since being arrested July 23 .

According to court records, Warr appeared Sept. 15 in Logan’s 1 st District Court. He accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to two count of aggravated assault, amended to a third-degree felony. A third charge was dismissed without prejudice.

According to prosecutors, Logan City Police officers received a delayed domestic dispute call in July. The victim explained how she was at Warr’s residence on May 25, when he began yelling at her about money. He reportedly pushed her into a kitchen counter, fracturing one of her ribs.
