NEW ALBANY, Ind. — In Southern Indiana, a nonprofit is changing the way families experience recovery, ensuring that no one has to go through it alone.

Kerith Family Recovery , based in New Albany and serving nearby counties in Kentucky, supports children and families affected by incarceration, addiction, and trauma. The organization’s mission is rooted in compassion, providing resources for adults seeking a fresh start and safe spaces for children who often bear the hidden weight of their parents’ struggles.

“We’re faith-based, but not faith imposing,” said Executive Director Susanna Jacobson. “Our goal is to make recovery available to anyone who needs it.”
