Florida football coach Billy Napier provided an encouraging update on the status of freshman wide receiver Dallas Wilson, who suffered a leg injury the first week of fall camp and has missed UF's first three games of the season.
“We anticipate him starting (practice) next week," Napier said.
That could put the 6-foot-3, 213-pound Wilson in line to return following the open week, when the Florida Gators (1-2, 0-1 SEC) host No. 7 Texas on Oct. 4. Florida plays at No. 6 Miami on Sept. 20.
