Shelters of Saratoga celebrates expansion of housing units

SARATOGA SPRINGS — celebrated the opening of 40 units of housing in Saratoga Springs with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday.

The expansion includes nine new supportive housing units on Ballston Avenue and 31 emergency shelter beds on Walworth Street. Much of the renovation work, as well as the funding for the project, has been in place for a handful of years.
